Covering weaving is a high-efficiency, fully automated process that lays fibres directly onto a mandrel or substrate. It is ideal for producing large, complex-curved composite preforms that demand tight tolerances and repeatable quality. Compared with conventional lay-up, the technique delivers precise control of fibre angle and ply thickness while maintaining continuous fibre paths and eliminating excess shear or overlap, thereby enhancing structural integrity and production efficiency.
We operate multiple large-scale covering-weaving systems with adjustable multi-axis fixtures, enabling automated, high-efficiency braiding of round tubes, square beams and intricate geometries. Typical products include robotic-arm structures, fairings, shell-type components and frame/beam assemblies.
