Yunlu Composites Shines at the First International Low-Altitude Economy Expo, winning Top Ten Core Technologies and Airspace Expansion Awards

23 July 2025 – The very first edition of International Low-Altitude Economy Expo opened with a flourish. Yunlu Composites (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (Booth 4.1H B150) – a global leader in advanced composite equipment and aircraft structural components – stole the spotlight. Alongside the world's most advanced 3D braiding machines, Yunlu showcased a range of aircraft composite parts and two fold-wing UAVs, instantly becoming the show's must-see attraction.

 

At the Expo, Yunlu Composites scooped the "Top Ten Core Technologies" award for its state-of-the-art 3D braiding equipment and processes, while its wholly owned subsidiary Tianxing Intelligence also took home the "Airspace Application Expansion" award for China's first tonne-class hydrofoil UAV designed for challenging sea conditions.

Core Technologies on Display – Yunlu Composites' headline exhibits are built around three key breakthroughs:


1. World's largest radial 3D braider – featuring a pioneering spherical chassis that enables 1,000 spindles to operate in unison.

Industry Spotlight With Two Honoured Awards


At the opening ceremony of the Expo, Yunlu Composites received the "Top Ten Core Technologies" award for its 3D braiding smart equipment and advanced production processes—cementing the company's self-developed 3D braiding technology as a cornerstone of the low-altitude aircraft sector. 


Meanwhile, Tianxing Intelligence claimed the "Airspace Application Expansion" award for China's first tonne-class hydrofoil UAV, designed for demanding maritime missions and poised to advance sea rescue, coastal defence and national oceanic strategy.

Drawing senior-level attention and widespread industry acclaim, Yunlu Composites' stand becomes a hub of on-site dialogue.


On the opening day of the Expo, Booth 4.1H-B150 welcomed dozens of government leaders for guided tours and played host to several hundred executives from airframe OEMs, aerospace manufacturers, research institutes and investment houses. All engaged in in-depth discussions on how 3D-woven technology can unlock decisive value for the next phase of low-altitude-industry modernisation.
